I have always been a very compassionate person and I love to help others. I have been through my own journey to reach wholeness and I understand the hard work that goes into making healthy life changes. I want to be there for others so that they know they are never alone.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Health Science from Towson University. I received my Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from The University of Maryland, Baltimore. I have over 13 years experience working in private practice, outpatient mental health clinics and school based settings providing therapy services to clients of all ages.
I specialize in working with female adults, mothers, college students and teens, struggling with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship struggles, family conflict, life transitions, grief and trauma. I use a person centered, CBT and mindfulness approach to therapy focusing on acceptance, accountability, support, challenging negative thought patterns and behaviors, problem solving and development of healthy outlets.
I work with teens and families, helping to strengthen the family unit through development of parenting skills, better boundaries, communication and behavioral management. I assist teens with the development of emotional intelligence including self-awareness, self-regulation, social skills and empathy for others.
Therapy is tailored to meet the needs of each individual client. I create a nonjudgmental space where you can reflect, explore and experiment with new solutions.

I am a compassionate and genuine Social Worker who has supported children, teens,
adults, and families through arduous life situations for over 15-years. I’ve accomplished this by helping
people identify barriers to transformation and work with the person and/or family to discover beneficial
interventions, thus, invoking meaningful and lasting change.
I earned a master’s degree in Social Work from Delaware State University and a bachelor’s degree in
Behavioral Science from Wilmington University where I also achieved a Certificate in Child Advocacy. I
enjoy staying informed professionally by conducting research, attending evidence-based trainings, and
earning relevant certifications to better you or your loved one.
Seeking help from a therapist is difficult and trust is imperative. I wholeheartedly meet people where
they are and firmly believe a person defines their own tribulations. My role, as I see it, is to develop a
trusting alliance to others in their journey, whatever that may be. I have extensive experience in
counseling, crisis intervention, LGBTQIA matters, school-based social work, behavior management, and
chronic disabilities. I have extensive experience working with depression, anxiety, PTSD, suicidal
ideation, non-suicidal self-injury, sleep disturbances, and conduct disorders to name a few.
I enjoy using therapeutic techniques such as mindfulness, guided imagery, motivational interviewing,
cognitive behavior therapy, positive psychology, and breathwork. When working with older children and
teens, I have recognized how profound journaling, music, and art therapy techniques can be used when
words are difficult. I have traveled a tough road myself and can support others of all ages to recognize
their inner strength, potential, and subsequent growth through empathetic and authentic
conversations. I look forward to meeting you!
